I'm currently a blog burn-out. But for distant friends and fam, here's a bite. We've been:
Apple picking at Simmons Farm
Pumpkin picking at Trax Farm

Flower picking (not really, they throw you out for that) at Phipps Conservatory. It's acres of indoor gardens, perfect for a bit of summer in the middle of autumn and winter.

A Malan-eating cactus in the desert room.
Sorry I've been selfishly enjoying all your updates without reciprocating. We are alive and well and loving all your blogs, dear peeps!

Yay for the update! We love your apple/pumpkin/flower pickin' selves.
What does the title "mia" mean? Nice pics. Nice sweater on Malan. Nice to see you guys.
I think it means "missing in action".
Glad to see that you are enjoying the East Coast and that you are surviving.

Finally a name for the lack of desire to blog after one has been so passionate about it. I feel you, but thank you for the update. You are such a good mom and have such darling girls.

i keep checking anyway. you always have great ideas and fun things to read about. loved your b-day post. how is the new house? city? i want to see pics of what you did with the house.
I was starting to worry about ya...
Don't worry about blogging. Just put in a picture every now and again so we can look at you and yours. Words are overrated ;)
Better Homes and Gardens has some great FREE pumpkins stencils. They would be perfect for your pumpkin carving this year. I found them on their website today.
Love you guys!
Katie!!
Your girls are beautiful!! I think the last time I saw you your oldest was just a baby. Are you still living in the Valley? Let me know what you are up to. I am excited I found you on Josie's blog!
I think we only went apple picking once with my family, but we loved it. Looks like such fun! And I'm glad you're letting your hair be curly sometimes.
P.S. I'd love to see your preschool lesson plans! I'm just an aide right now since I haven't taken any child development classes, but I can still lead activities if I want to.
Can I just say you are really really pretty Kate. Love the orchard pics and mini beauts as well.
