Wee Surprise

Oh, I feel a bit like a slave to my biology. Hours after posting about feeling like I needed to get ready for this bambina, she decided to arrive 5 weeks early. We were a little worried, but our yet-to-be-named babe is doing fantastic and we all love, love, love her. Here are a few snapshots:

This was my first natural childbirth. If you would like to hear what I think about that, ask me and I'll give ya an earful. We are grateful and full of joy to have our new bundle here safe and sound. Hope you get to meet her soon, she's really very great.

She is SO cute. I approve. And, yes, I would like to hear what you have to say about natural childbirth. Do birth drugs affect the baby?

I did NOT enjoy natural childbirth. And that is all I will say about that. For now.
She is so so so sweet! Wow. I don't want any more babies. Except for yours. Can I, huh? Huh?

What a cutie! :) She looks tiny, but seems SO alert and happy. Doesn't seem like a 5-week-early baby at all. She seems fully ready to be out in the big world with her sisters.

Isn't she amazing!? Wow, what a gorgeous little doll. Interesting that your nesting instinct kicked in and she joined your fam shortly after. She really does look older than a five week early babe. What did she weigh? Can't wait to hear about her lovely name and more details!!

Hope you are doing well and thanks for posting so shortly after.

Beautiful! And what a surprise. It is nice to know someone else who is going through newborn baby days with me. I'm only 8 or 9 days ahead of you with my third. How are the sibs adjusting? We should chat.

Yep, so sweet! It's great that you got pics with her eyes open, and even a little grin. hee hee! Want to hold her. It makes me laugh to look at Charlie and think how he would totally smoosh her. Smoosh her with love, that is. Congrats! Great to talk to you. I'm so glad Michelle is there. I wish I could be.
