Malan decided she really wanted to make a wind chime this week, so we hit up the local Goodwill for supplies: some silver utensils and some old beads. I drilled some threading holes and the girls strung the beads for us. We think it turned out well.
and it makes a really beautiful sound . . .

Cute! Malan will love visiting us if she's into windchimes. There is a house down the street that has a billion of them hanging on their porch.

What a great idea. I love it. I remember Sarah's mom made a windchim out of her grandmothers old spoons and it was the neatest thing ever. I love the idea of the beads. I think I'm going have to take your great idea and make me one.
