Independence Day

Here are some of the sights of the day, one of my favorite holidays:
Matchy matchy girls. Tugs my heart strings a little.
Waiting for the train to take us into the city. Malan is a crack up, and poor Olivia is helpless against my clothing choices for her: half-dippy, half-adorable.
Watching the speed boat races on the Ohio river. Very redneck, very cool.
And the best fireworks I have ever seen! 3rd largest in the nation last night. I don't know where the first and second largest were, but I'm going there next year.
It was a wonderful day. I admit I did miss our sweet Huntsville 4th of July. Nonetheless, I love this country and I love celebrating that I love this country, no matter where.

You are GORGEOUS. Also, I'm guessing you made the flowers for the outfits? Too cute. Maybe Greg and I should visit you guys for the 4th next year :)

Happy Birthday to Jane today!

Well how could you not miss Huntsville on the 4th?! But WOW! I am sure those fireworks were spectacular!

Sweet Huntsville missed you too. Remember how we were in the melodrama together? And how we did disco dance moves that you choreographed? That's when I realized how totally awesome you are.
This year I was in the melodrama again, but I played the naggy wife who chased her husband (Casey) around with a rolling pin. Not nearly so cool.
