Now I'm as wise and mature as Caleb. Well, not really.
You nailed my birthday, babe. I love my new cake stand, and I have been playing with my Holga camera all day. Burned through my first roll of film and can't wait to see how it turns out.
Beyond material things, I am feeling great about 28. It may be my first birthday where I feel quite content with where I am in life right now.
Except for all the Halloween candy I ate today. Yuck.

Kate, Loved the party! Thanks for the invite and the wopee cushion I won. It provided me with chuckles for about 48 houtd now as I recall the fruits of the win. Mary Catherine was a great sport! Congratts on your 28 years. You are so much more mature than I am and I am going to be 31 in December. I have truly enjoyed knowing you this last year and 1/2. You and Kaleb and your little family are just awesome! Content is awesome isnt it?

A cake stand! Lucky girl! I've wanted a vintage one to display my jewelry collection (pathetic as it is), not for displaying something awesome like a cake. Home Ec skills skip a generation in my family.
