Unconditional

Caleb had a dream about me last night. He dreamed I was in a horrible hiking accident and had to be rushed to the hospital. He waited anxiously outside the door to surgery until they finally wheeled me out. Unfortunately all that was left of me was just a head resting on sled runners, with hooks for arms protruding from either side. The kindly surgeons had taken the trouble to carefully style my hair, which was now "waist" long and luxurious. I smiled sweetly up at Caleb from the gurney. He gently picked my head up, gave me a little squeeze, and said, "Oh, I'm so glad you're. . .ok. You look . . .beautiful." And that was it.

When Caleb told me about it I had been battling a sinus pressure headache all night and the only thing I could think was that if I was just a head, I would hurt all over. But I do find it reassuring to know I'll still be loved if something really awful happens.

Very sweet. I don't remember you being funny before, but you certainly are now. Chalk it up to happiness, I guess!

Wow. I had two dreams last night about people trying to break into our house. And another last week where some random was planning to kill me at dawn. What does that say about me?

Mom-I swear I feel safe at my house.

Love that Tib; he's a keeper.

This provokes very deep toughts. My Grandma used to tell me "You're old a lot longer then you're young..." and I find that to mean more as the years go by.

Aging isnt for the weak and it's great to know that we have people in our lives that are there for the long haul.. no matter what happens to ones body or looks.

xoox,

Greg thinks it means Caleb only likes you for your looks. At least he picked your head to like, right?

Ah life. I wonder what that would mean if we looked it up in a dream interpretation book. Really must be love!!! Isn't that always thrilling?!!

Okay - I just laughed myself to tears about this all over again. HaHA!!! I was reviewing the blog to see your paint. Thanks for the stress-reliever. Still wiping the tears away. So hilarious!
