Because most things at our house wear skirts.
Caleb says he feels like a Mennonite when he goes out with 3 girls and a wife in skirts and dresses, but I just can't bear to wear pants in the summer. Anyone with me? Plus, isn't Caleb a great Mennonite name?
The peach jam turned out to be inspiring. Please, if you live in the Brigham City vicinity, acquire a bushel and go wild. You could try this, or this, or this. The jam recipe I used is just the one on the box, you really can't go wrong. Freezer jam, of course. It's much too hot to hover over the stove today.

I'm a skirt girl too. MY FIL always asks me why I'm wearing a skirt; clearly he's clueless.
Skirts all the way!!! And I'm so glad that it goes along with your canning! Looks divine!!!!
peachy pork loin is goooood. heat up peach jam on the stove and use it to bast your tenderloin in the oven.
The leather sounds Ahhhh-mazing! I'll be sure to let you know if this works for me! I love fruit leather and natural is best!
Dresses are my new favorite! I don't know why I haven't worn them more often the past 10 years. :O
hee - caleb IS a good mennonite name. luckeeeee. i like your jams's skirts. do you have matching ones? that would be cool.
why are you the cutest ever?!?! :)
Freezer peach jam. That's something I haven't tasted--sounds good! I like to make chicken with any jam and I make it a lot with my apricot jam. Saute sliced red onions with chicken breast with salt and pepper and about 2 T Olive Oil about 6 minutes per side. Then remove the chicken, but leave onions, put in the pan 1/3 cup jam, 1 T basalmic vinegar 1/4 t. pepper. Cook till the jam is dissolved and it's a nice sauce and pour it over your chicken.
yay for peaches! I think they're late this year - so we'll be doing these recipes in a month or so . . . I need more skirts.
I LOVE peach jam! That looks so yummy. You are such a good wife and mother!
