I Miss My Hard Drive and my Self-Control

Blogging from Caleb's computer tonight because mine crashed this morning. I weep for me! Please bless the good doctors at geek squad can make it all better.

I don't know if what followed was a result of computer-crash-induced desperation, or a simple, albeit shameful, case of supply and demand, but here's what I ate today-

Breakfast: the rest of the Oreo's we found leftover in the kitchen at church on Sunday, with a root beer chaser.

Lunch: 4 or 5 funsize snickers.

Dinner: half a bag of haribo gummi bears.

Before you flog me with a licorice whip, let it be known that I did feed my children actual food today.
(Although it's questionable whether my nursing newborn got much more than sugar water.)

Caleb got home just before nine and thought dessert and a "Chuck" episode sounded about right. I didn't tell him about my other dietary selections for the day until after I'd finished the large root beer float he made me.

Upon hearing, Caleb told me to sit on the time-out stair and think about what I'd done.

Funny, funny man.

Well goodnight, all. I think tomorrow I will try to find my running shoes and some spinach.

SOoooo funny!!! I'm just amazed that you could survive without any real sustenance. When I'm nursing a newborn, I could eat and eat and eat and eat some more and still be hungry (maybe that's why I can't lose the baby weight!).

Isn't part of the fun of being a grown up is knowing you're free to make those decisions (oreos for breakfast!)?

The SHAME of it. Heehee! Reminds me of the day I ate Reese's Peanut Butter Crunch Cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How kind of you to indulge your serving husband by eating the rootbeer float. Hope your 'puter is fixed up soon.

YUM. We're all allowed a day like that every now and then. I think I'll take my turn today ;)

Wow, I'd love to eat like that but when I do I get one or more of the following: headache, stomachache, cold sore, canker sore, fat.
I know how sad it is when your 'puter dies. Casey spent two days getting back all our pictures and music from the last 10 years.
But what makes me lose control is when my kids are fighting each other or me. My son makes me fat.

What Caleb didn't know is he is going to find out that all your friends and family eat the same way from time to time. And just when he was thinking I was so cool because I played volleyball he finds out I can finish an entire 1/2 gallon of ice cream in one sitting. Darn! Praying for your computer.

It's the mom day!!! Today Brownies made up most of my breakfast...(I also had a glass of milk) But you have inspired me to maybe make something for lunch instead of having the other brownie that is staring me down.

i think it's cause you were born on halloween. don't you? i like that caleb made you write about it. and sit in time-out. did sitting in time-out, thinking about all the candy ... did it make you want more candy? cause reading this made me want candy.

I wish you the best of luck in recovering the info on your computer, and in the meantime eat whatever you want!

That sounds like my diet. It is hard for me to resist sweets. I hope your hard drive recovers. Glad you guys could go on a date every couple deserves date night. I think dating is a lot of fun when you are married because the stress to impress is gone and you can relax and enjoy each other.

I've had my hard drive crash- crash and burn. I lost 1000's of pictures and there is no loss quite like it. Awful. Now, I'm the back up queen. I hope they can recover your lost items!
