In the Spring I get a little project happy.
Up for sharing today, a silly little 5-minute thrift store do-over:

Who wouldn't want their s&p poured out of a kissy fish head? I know I would.

you're so good and crafty. i wish i could see the potential in things while at the thrift store.
So cute!
I'll have to give it a listen.
I went to goodwill today for the first time in years. to shop for an eighties costume for YW tonight. And I spent $20!! (I bought a few skirts too) But I'm always jealous of people that find cool stuff in thrift stores for cheap. I just seem find dumb stuff for expensive. I love the fishies. I want to use them on food you make me sitting at a table in your house. Wouldn't that be grand? We've got to make it happen before you leave.
hee hee hee!!! I think I could do with a couple of kissy fish. Fab!
I bet they spout sea salt!! Ha, I'm so funny. Very cute. Did you have to use a fancy enamel paint or anything??
Let me tell you a little story! A while ago, over a year ago, you posted a story about salt and pepper shakers you bought and spray painted. It sparked a huge fire in me and I was off to thrift stores looking for things to spray paint. Since then I've had a whole new out look in the isles of my Goodwill stores.
Thrift stores and Etsy are about the only two places I shop any more for home wares. Delightful!
Kissy face fish! Love them!
R~
love the kissy faces! also, i have been a bit obsessed with the downton abbey series that played in the UK (i watched it thru netflix) and i am telling you- Mary, the main character, could be your sister! she looks so much like you and your girls, it's crazy. you will have to watch it if you get a chance. i think you would like the series besides;)
cute fish! so fun! changing up the table for cheap, look at you go!
i listened to your suggestion. loved it! made me think and made me appreciate the learning and growth of my children more.
thanks!!!
I love thrift stores too. And, yes, I think just about everyone wished they could get their salt and pepper out of a kissy fish.
I need to start going to thrift stores, the smell is funny though. Love the shakers and the radio segment sounds heartbreaking, yet inspiring.
