From the Archives

Found an old sim card I had forgotten about the other day that had some little photo gems from Pittsburgh on it. Got me feeling a little nostalgic. Olivia still asks once a week or so if we can "go to Pittsburgh today." It seems such a long time ago, more like a dream than a memory. These pictures were taken in our last couple of weeks there.

Still miss you and all your rivers and bridges and hills and cow paths for streets, quirky old city.

Sweet, pictures! Love that look of bliss jumping on the bed. I just love looking at old pictures I'd forgotten about. And I agree, it feels like its been a long time since the move (for us too!).

So do you remind Olivia what she had to say about Pittsburgh before you left?

Kate! Oh Pittsburgh misses you guys too (or we, still here in Pittsburgh) miss you! But isn't it great to have memories and pictures to go with them?

Oh, Kate, we in Pittsburgh definitely miss you all, too! We were just talking about you guys this past week & weekend and how we wish you were still nearby to hang out with, and how your joy & kindness brightened our lives.

While it was often hectic & crazy will all of our kids running around daily, your collective presence brought a certain peace to our lives. We definitely miss you all.

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your new house and time with nearby family, and hope you get to see Caleb sometimes!

And look at those kids grow! My goodness! We need to post some new pictures & blog posts of ours. (Sorry for the lack lately...no excuse. Nonetheless, I'll just say that life is busy.)

Take care, Wilsons! Hoping you can "do Pittsburgh" again some time!

Love all the pictures of little girls drenched in sunlight. Hey you said the sun never came out in Pittsburgh. Love the Gotham bridges too.
