Strawberry Picking

One thing I love about living in the South is that spring comes early, and thus, produce is growing earlier and ripe sooner. We heard the strawberries were ready at Jones' Orchards and made our way there on Saturday to get our hands on some.

The last time we went strawberry picking, Olivia was itty-bitty! Oscar got to be the tiny, lazy one this time around.

Can I tell you how much I love being out in the sun with my family, getting a little muddy and being a little nature-y? Caleb and I were planting little dreams of having our own strawberry patch somewhere, someday.

We filled two heaping buckets, then headed home to make some yummy jam. Bless you, strawberry picking day. We loved you.
