Whatev

Honestly, things have been quite uneventful lately. (I'm not complaining!) So, at the risk of boring you, here a few random goings on pics.

Jane is our budding virtuoso, she even has the "I don't care, i'm an artist!" hairdo. (And expression.)

We finally found some Sunday shoes Malan will wear (instead of dress up shoes). But really I just added this picture because Caleb looks attractive.

The birthday cake

The birthday girl. So, I've been trying to get her to wear something other than the same princess dress every day for the last month (only removed for sleep and washing). I stayed up late the night before her birthday making her a new princess dress. It's soft and stretchy and sparkly and pink! What else could a princess want? Apparently the old scratchy ripped dirty yuck-o dress. She wore this one for five minutes. Oh well. Maybe I can get her to wear it for Halloween?

Hey, it's Kari. I have to tell you this: I was delivering food to this private nursery, and one of the little girls ran up to the door wearing a cinderella disney princess dress. And I was all "Oh! You're such a cute princess!" And she corrected me, "I'm an indian princess!" And I was went "What?" And then she pointed up to her hair, where there was a single feather sticking up. I about died laughing.

love the princess dress! I love that your "nothing going on" involves sewing amazing dresses only to have your daughter decide she doesn't want to wear it...

The dress turned out awesome!!! She had quite a "thang" going on that day apparently--since she didn't want to talk to me on the phone. I guess I don't blame her though...everyone loves a good soak in the tub :)

Really, you made that? I am seriously impressed and just a tinge jealous that you can sew and it actually turns out! Good job, mom!

I love that imperious look on her face. "I've got the dress on. Are you happy? Are we done now?" :) I'm not surprised you made the dress. I expect this kind of greatness from you.

Once again I loved the pictures. I have some 4 year old granddaughters that love to dress up as a princess, or queen.
