Here is my list of excuses for why I have not decorated my house yet:
1. I am pregnant

3. Yes, that is a lame excuse
Well, enough is enough right?! So we decided to spend Valentine's Day loving on our house a little.
Living room white:
Living room "wild artichoke" (artichokes are yummy):
Those children look happier now. Keep an eye out for curtains, coming soon. (maybe)
Kitchen white:
Kitchen rum runner:
I must say, our house is much, much more welcoming now. More to come, as soon as I can get my round tummy and sore feet up on a painting ladder again.

I painted our front room(would you believe it is artichoke too?!) while Zach was out of town and I was expecting Sarah...will never do that one again!

Hooray for color! We are slowly making our temporary living situation our home. Put a bedskirt on the bed yesterday!
Today is a snow day. We're all in PJs, coloring and playing with blocks. (Actually, I'm in Mike's T-shirt. I don't fit into my pj tops anymore.) Oh, and making a paper chain to count down to the big day. Hope you have a great day!

Great job painting! I love the colors! I love painting - so fun and adds SO much! And I think being preg. is a perfectly good excuse for a lot of things, decorating included.

Ooh! I am so jealous. Your home looks wonderful! The biggest heartache when we moved in was "NO PAINTING". Alas, someday I will live in a home that I can make into my own...for now I will embrace all the bright white (could be worse).
