And Caleb:

(Caleb's cookie says: "It's what you do to me.")
And although I know I've been invited to parties just for these cookies, it's love day so I'm passing the recipe on:
(these are originally from the wonderful Debbie Melle)
2 cups white sugar
1 c shortening
3 eggs
¼ to ½ cup milk
1 tsp salt
3 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon extract
3 tsp baking powder
5 cups flour
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, lemon extract. add dry ingredients. roll out to about ¼ inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Knead in flour as needed to prevent sticking.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes
Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
1-2 tsp vanilla
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb pdr sugar (about 4 cups)
Can add lemon or almond extract
And thanks dear family for your sweet Valentines. Wendy W., the girls have carried their mailboxes everywhere for the last 3 days.
Grandma and Grandpa Hancey, here is how much they love their new Pez:

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm glad to hear they liked the mailboxes so much - they just said childhood Valentine's Day to me :)
Love you guys!
I love the Pez shots. And I want to eat your cookies. Happy Valentine's Day!
uh, whoops, that was me, Edith, again.
We did the cookies thing to - and now I want to do it again! That was some very careful sprinkle placing on Caleb's part - maybe he should be a surgeon? Cute girlies!
