We're home. Funny how some time in the last year "home" became this little house and this little family of mine, far across the country. I don't know when it happened, but I recognized it tonight when I walked through our front door. Feels good.
It was also so sweet to spend time with our dearest ones for the last month and we are sharing some heartache tonight to be so far away again. Malan lasted about two minutes before she started shedding tears for her grandmas. I laid down with her in bed and snuggled her to sleep.
Wish I had someone to snuggle me to sleep tonight, too.
Oh, lucky me. I do.

Welcome home. There really is no place like it...if only they made bigger suitcases to pack family in.
welcome back. leaving family and friends is the pits. we need to talk about that 10 hour trip, what's labor day weekend like? :)
Oh my gosh! It's mini-Kate! Don't you think that looks just like you!! We are sad you are geographically far away again. We loved, loved having you here. Glad you've got your own home to get back to, though.
We both shed a few tears...Give the girls a hug from Grandma.
I didn't realize you were already gone! Welcome home! It was so fun to see you!
No, no please don't go...we'll eat you up we miss you so! Wish we could have had weeks of lounging and not running from this to that. Love you all!
