Once upon a time a handsome 19-year old young man and I climbed up to the top of this silo and looked out on the West Kaysville farmlands. The sun was setting. He was nervous about me falling, so he put an arm around me. Maybe he wasn't nervous. Either way, I was smitten.
Nine years and 3 baby girls later, here we are back at the Wilson barn for some more memory making.
Meet bud. The very bud Malan has been talking/dreaming about since she first rode him one year ago. He lives here at the barn.
Malan's dreams are about to come true.
Grandpa tells bud there's to be no monkey business.
Malan is in heaven.
Uh-oh. Jane wants a turn too.
Today Jane gets what she wants.
Jane and Bud are thrilled.
Jane decides she's happier back on the ground.
Thank you, barn, for the memories. You've been good to us.
