Lost Gems

While cleaning out my photo files I came across these two photos from our visit home this summer.

Gma & Gpa Hancey's hydrangeas. Their yard is like the Garden of Eden.
 And a princess locked in a tower. Love her.

For me, finding forgotten photo treasures is better than finding 20 bucks in last winter's coat pocket.

Such a serious princess! As I remember Ethan and the girls were trying to defend the castle from the evil Bob...That cardboard castle was the best purchase.

I'm seeing a little bit of all three of my kids in that picture of Jane. They must be related. Did you know that Hydrangeas are blue in Oregon? Something about the acidity/baseness of the soil.
