Lost in Translation

Me: Nice writing, Malan.
Malan: I like this word because it has a violent "e."

Post edit: it seems this post created some confusion. I taught Malan about "silent e" and she later remembered it as "violent e." After our conversation I took a pic of her word and drew the little e monster in photo shop.

Did she REALLY do that? That is so cool. Sometimes I get jealous that little kids are more creative than I'll ever be. Love that little Malanowski. Hey are you coming here? Cause you should you know. We would treat you right.

vowel, consanant, vowel produces a "SILENT E" Might that be what she heard at preschool :D
