Turkey, Tree, and Tummy

We shared a lovely thanksgiving with our other disem-familied friends. . .
Then went the next day to hunt our christmas tree.
It was absolutely freezing, but we wouldn't have missed it.
Caleb cut down a big fat fabulous fir for us with his own two hands. Doesn't that sound manly?! It was.
 Sleeping hard:
And working hard: (My coat, I mean. I don't think I can get any bigger. . .are those my feet way down there?)
We had to move some furniture to make room for our robust Christmas tree. I know just how it feels.

Thanks for reading. . .hope your holidays are shaping up nicely!

I love the pearl acorns. I was so charmed by the acorns in the south-eastish. How did you find pearls just the right size? You inspire me to do things prettier. You also seem to have a monopoly on awesome knit hats! You were so missed! I still feel a little discombobulated every time I go to Huntsville because you're not there. I'm glad you made a wonderful time there.

Wow, that picture made me sleepy. Can't remember the last time all my kids were asleep during a car ride. Oh, yeah. That's because it's never happened.
You do have the monopoly on cute hats. Can't wait to see pics of the newbie!

Katie your blog is lovely! I love your photos, they look so professional. I saw the picture of your coat/feet and wondered if that meant you were expecting and can see from the other comments you are...YAY!!! Congratulations!!! Sorry I know this is a ginormous comment but I also loved your framed photo of you guys masked. Do you change it per season? You're wonderful. Miss you!
