Last Bit

I was confronted suddenly by yellow maple leaves against a blue sky yesterday and it made me quite unspeakably happy.

I think Emme noticed as well.

We all spent the rest of the day absorbing the last little bit of Fall.

Winter, I'm not ready for you yet. Please hold off a little longer.

It's like you have a whole YW troupe in your home! So many lovely girls. Thanks for capturing how I feel about autumn! It's such a boost to live in neighborhoods with trees!

Action shots of joy! Those leaves! I swoon! I'm not ready for snow, oh wait! We'll only get 1 inch here in Texas ;) It still gets cold, but that means scarves, and that makes for more simply joy.

xo,

PS: I heart your girls coats and those warm tights!

I''ve appreciated the little bit of fall we get here... I'm not ready for winter either, for different reasons than those of you in snowy-cold places, but not ready for the drab colorless world of west Texas winter.

I especially like the one where Jane takes Malan out of the picture with a pile of leaves. Such lovely big piles! Such lovely pics.

Fall Leaves, nothing beats 'em. We are all in white today. And the girls are playing on the hill. Still, I miss the color.

There is no possible way to look at these pictures without a huge grin on my face!! Such beautiful photographs, Kate! You seriously need to go into business. Your children look so happy and Emme is getting more and more beautiful every time I see her. And I agree about fall. No winter, please!! :)
