Wow, such a busy time of year, right? So good though. I love this season, I love the excitement, and it's even better watching my girls be excited about it all. But times like these I get to feeling like my poor kids just follow me around from task to task. I find myself thinking "Kay, this month is crazy, but then we'll settle down and get back into a good routine for the kids." And though I know how important it is, it can be so hard for me to stop trying to get the next thing done and just PLAY with them. I really want to do better. I hope I can find a way to minimize all the busy-ness and less important STUFF. I'm taking suggestions, if you've found a way.
This last picture tugs my heart a good deal. Self, this is what it's all about.

That'll get 'em ready for the real thing. But I don't think the real thing is as fun. Ellie has that dress that Olivia is wearing, one of her faves. We finally decorated our tree last night. Ahh.
Very sweet pictures. I love the flying ones! I think it's awesome to have some from-your-perspective pictures of games you play.

Yeah, playing is good. I really wish I were better at that. I can't wait to see you guys and play and play together.
Nice pictures. Nice girls. I'm trying to chill out and just be with my kids too. The result--they end up staying up way too late and then Katie has to deal with sleep deprived bonkers babies the next day. Not my problem.
Mothering is standing, standing, standing! So good on you for lying down and putting your feet -- and your trim ankles -- up! And giving Olivia and Emme lift-off.
