I can't believe how fast a year can go! I think we've only seen Maryanne 3 or 4 times since she was born. I wish we could see all of you more.

Wah! But I want you to come take classy photos of MY baby turning one and smashing a cake! I don't think his cake is going to be nearly so cute, though. Nor would he approve of a flowery sheet. Super cute Maryanne!

I love how demure she looks all in white and so clean and pretty and then....SMASH! so funny! Why didn't I think of doing that! Kate I am sad that I still haven't taken the time to learn from you! What a waste of camera! When I drive Will and Hannah back to North Carolina, I will have to come and spend a few days. I can be your slave in return for photog lessons! You are so talented. i love these kate! i can't stop looking at them. you are so good at making the cute cuter and the lovely lovelier... and even the squishy squishier. you have some serious talent and i am feeling pretty lucky to be around it and to be reaping the benefits... wah ha ha. i'm so happy we did that because these are really such a treasure. and besides it was just plain funny. thank you. you are a good one.
