A few years back when Caleb started medical school I admit I felt
downright jealous. It's what I'd always wanted to do after
college, but what I'd always known I'd never do because I knew perfectly well I was meant to have
and raise children. No one told me I had to, I just knew it. It's taken time and experience for me to
come to a place of quite profound gratitude that, amid all the things my teen and twenty self got
wrong, I nailed that one.
Nothing could be making more of me than this. I am stretched and strengthened and
challenged and rewarded and so completely filled and fulfilled.
Little ladies, I'm trying hard to be what I should be for you, and I am so happy I get to be the one to supervise your sisterly play dates (and break up the occasional toy tug-o-wars) every day.

There is nowhere I'd rather be.

Oh, that was fun! How did you do that? Lovely little women. Your play and learn room looks to be such a great environment.
Lucky, lucky girls!! You are a wonderful Mom, Kate!
Just great people you have brought into this world! We love them all and you and Caleb! Your window seat bookcase is coming along so nicely! It looks like you are nearly finished. Isn't that a great feeling! I keep watch on it through your various posts. I wish I was there to help you, but you are doing just fine on your own! Loves!
Stay-at-home moming is the best! It's also very hard at times ;) How tall is Emme? She is looking so tall in these pics!!!
i love your darling family...so fun that you got to go on such a fun adventure with your kids and some of your siblings!
Your girls are so cute! And that room looks incredible! Being at home is great, albeit tough at times.
CUTE! How did you do that?! Your girls are so darling and lucky! Good work mom!
I have to admit, I like another version of this post just as much ;)
Kate you are one of the most beautiful moms I have ever know. It is easy to see through your writing and your beautiful photos. Of course you were meant to be a mom, you are an exceptional one. Someday I need to figure out how to be more like you.
