Well, the heat has arrived. It's hovering around 100 every day, and the only way to beat it is to be really wet, all the time. When we're not bumming around our dear Amanda's pool, we're up to shenanigans like this:
We really are trying to squeeze every ounce out of this summer, and I can't even believe it but school starts up again in just 2 weeks. Summer is just never long enough for my taste. (But as much as I love it, it's wearing me out a fair bit. You?)

Yesterday, i hit my "structure and school, bring it on" frame of mind. I think it means we have filled our lazy days with fun and memories, i think. Pictures are beautiful as always!
I'm so glad you have access to a pool! Can't make it through the Memphis summer without one and public pools are nil. I was bummed about the short summer there. Especially when we came from Cali and school ended June 21 then we started school the first week of August! Love you! We're just mid summer here. I'm on the hang on it's going to fast--stage.
I had heard Tennessee schools begin early in August. That is a bummer! Good luck with the rest of your family time.

ahhhh! I need to get a better system to check blogs because I didn't even know you blogged. that was a whole 2 days these beautiful pictures were just sitting here without me seeing them! I love them. Thanks for making fun things for my kids AND documenting them. You are pretty cool I must say.
