Olivia, our most ardent birthday anticipator, turned 5! Poor dear was on day 7 of a really rough virus and felt awful, but she was a good sport and tried earnestly to enjoy her day.

We found the doctor's kit to be appropriate, except Dr. Wilson kept coughing in her patients' faces.
After all that excitement, Olivia went back to bed for the next several hours...

Oh what good sisters making her cake and those cute presents. That is one of my favorite childhood memories is the sister-ness of birthdays. I loved Jane and Malan's homemade ipod and jewelry for little O. So cool. Olivia was a very sick birthday girl but darling as always. And it was almost humorous (in a sad way) how lethargic she was. I love that girl. She is seriously just an angelic, sincere child. Happy FIVE Olivia!!

I have to say, Kate, that your girls b day posts are always a favorite for me. I just completely adore the amazing Mom you are and the way you celebrate their b days. The details you always have for their breakfast, etc. are so beautiful, it makes me want to do fun pretty things like that.
