I only managed to snap a few pictures of our Easter happenings this year. I was in charge of the ward egg hunt but our kids were all sick, so we had our own at home later.
Jane's little friend from next door, Justina, joined us. Those are her tan little feet next to Jane's and Emme's.
One of my favorite things about spring in the South are the Dogwood trees. They are just delicate and so so white and their blossoms float like these tiny clouds. They're different from the clustery blossoms on the other trees and they just take my breath away. Also, they're late bloomers, so they often get a solo showing after all the other trees are past their glory. They also have neat Easter symbolism, they are cross-shaped, pure white, and tinged with crimson and always seem to bloom right at Easter, whether it's early or late in the Spring.
We decided to have a Mediterranean theme to our Easter dinner with the Hale's so we made chicken gyros, and they were so yummy!
Wish I had more photos to share, but it was a lovely day as always, and a special occasion to remember the Savior and the gift of his resurrection. We are so blessed.
