Olivia and Jane joined Drama Club this year at school. In the fall they auditioned for the Christmas play and were cast as elves, and on Thursday night we got to see in them in their play, "The Littlest Reindeer." I loved it. It was charming and funny, and short, which is how all school plays should be! They were loud and clear on their lines, and the cute choir that sang during the play sounded great. Here are a few shots from the show.
(Plot spoiler...Santa eats too many Christmas cookies and get stuck in a chimney, the littlest reindeer gets him out and saves the day. Our favorite song was the choir singing a Southern classic: "Santa gone and got stuck in the chimney." Ha!)

I remember my two elementary school plays, "The Nutcracker" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and they were so much fun to be a part of. It's so nice to see my girls having some neat and memorable experiences like this in school. Well done, little drama queens.
