Birthdays, construction, fireworks, reunions, no time to blog. Here's a catch up.
4 of July is one of my favorite holidays. We partied in Hunstville all day, sans Caleb, sadly, as he was kept busy running everything in the park. But we all finally got together for the fireworks. They were awesome! Jane dug them big time, Malan's always been a fan. We love the tradition of celebrating America by blowing stuff up.
Malan got to play at the Treehouse Museum with her best cousin Emma. Their plan of attack was: run frantically from room to room, cry from exhaustion, konk out in the car on the way home.
We set up a humongous waterslide for Jane's 1st birthday. It was a smash hit. Even Uncle Bob got in on the action. how did i not get a pic of him?!

I have a bunch of pictures from Jane's b-day bash. I'll have to send some to you!
welcome back to blogging! i was wondering where you'd gone to. ;) sounds like you've had a busy summer. any word on schools yet? in answer to your question about rockyou...there is an option to embed to the blog rather than just make a post. you have to create a new html page element, copy the html code and paste it into that new page element. also, i found that i had to resize the heighth and width to make it fit. i believe i had to go to 200x225. good luck! let me know if you have any other questions.
oh, sorry. i forgot to tell you that i love the location of that shoot you did with jane! it looks perfect!
thanks alyson! it worked! smartie. caleb has a bunch of interviews starting in september, i'll post once we have an idea where we'll be going.
i adore the picture of janie lookin at you with the "moooommmm" face. :) loved seeing you guys saturday!!
just saw your profile pic. is that a new 'do? i love it! you are beautiful!
that pic is from 2002 when i was in a bad relationship and kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter thinking that would fix the problem. luckily we broke up before i went for "bald." i've really been wanting to chop the tresses lately though,(not because of another bad relationship :) . . .) but haven't worked up the courage yet. talk me into it!
absolutely! i'm all about the short hair, obviously! you're so lucky though, you've got such thick, full hair that you can have it either way. mine goes limp after it reaches my chin!
just remember...it always grows back! i say go for it!
