So, I was trying to get ready for church this morning and Jane kept crying because she wanted me to read her favorite book to her. I kept putting her off in my rush, and when I went to find her, this is what I saw. Am I a bad mom being replaced by a good sister? Or a lucky mom whose first little one will be raising the rest of the kiddos? It was super sweet, whatever kind of mom I am, and I love my main babes.

*video* Good Mom/Bad Mom

Your girls are so cute! I love how Jane just sat there and let Malan read her a book. And Malan reads so well!!!
i think it's precious. it's awesome your little girls are already BFF's. :) and, p.s., i've seen first hand you are a MAH-velous mama!
That is so adorable. And I must say Malan has really good pitch. She takes after her mother in the musical department...so cute!
Good mom all the way! How could we be balanced, wonderful, loving people if we had to be entertainers 24/7? Your girls are darling and I must agree, Malan has lovely pitch!
No joke, I almost cried. How I love May-may and Jay-jay! I vote for "good mom." After all, I want to be just like you when I grow up!
Kate you are such a doll! Not only are you a good mom for following through and looking to read to her(after all Jane has to learn patience sometime) but you caught the priceless interaction between Malan and Jane. Someday Jane will need reminding of what a doting older sister Malan was to her.
Definitely a good mom, no question...Bryant has read many a book to Jonas when I don't even have getting ready as an excuse. Very cute moments, those are the moments that make me SO glad I get to be home with these kids. :)
How adorable! I hope someday I'll have some little girls of my own. How precious that they are so sweet together! Very cute.
My vote is definitely for Good mom! What a precious little interaction!
good work gettin' that on film.. so precious. i'm still worried about how to make things work with just one kid, but as evidenced here, maybe two is the way to go? sisters are the best!
How cute!! Obviously a good mom, because if you weren't, I don't think Malan would have read her the book in the first place. She must have a wonderful example to follow. It was fun to see your comment and to look at your blog, and see what you have been up to lately, well since high school really. :) Mel (Jones) Bassett
Great mom, with a very smart and helpful little girl.
