Shop's Open

Finally opened up shop last night. I have lots more to list, but will have to do it as time permits. I'd love for you to stop in! Click here or click the link in my sidebar for a visit.

So why am i doing this? I wonder about that. I stress myself out sometimes. But there are a few reasons:

a) I'm a bit paranoid about the next four years with an absentee student husband and empty time on my hands. Projects are good company late at night.

b) I have this part of me that goes kookoo if i don't feel like I've got a project or like I'm doing something tangible with my free time.

c) I'm on a quest to find my thing. I should know what my thing is by now. But I'm still trying to figure that out and I guess I'm doing that by trying lots of things to see what sticks.

d) I want to be able to make something I think is beautiful and have someone else enjoy it too. Do we all have some innate desire to do something like that?

So that's as far as I can figure why I'm doing this. I like that it can be at my own pace, meaning some nap times and some night times. I like that I can express myself a little bit outside of my mom role. I hope I can organize things in such a way that I will stop staying up late and get things in a nice flow. And I hope you're all basking in self-discovery and fulfillment!
