Presenting. . .

Our Christmas. At least a bit of it.

The preparations were sweet:
and snowy (or snow-globey):

Christmas day was joyful and mostly unphotographed. We just wanted to enjoy it, and we did.

The rest of our holiday was spent doing much of the following:
Reading-
 Painting-
Can I tell you again how much I LOVE Jane's fashion choices? Seriously, watch out for this one.

And crawling-thaaaaat's right. She's mobile.
And she became mobile the same week she discovered she could feed herself off of the floor. After the first bits of candy wrapper foil made their appearance post-derrière, she had to be caged.

She doesn't seem to mind. Also, she needed a haircut, which i gave her, which did not go well. More pictures of Olivia to come. . .in a few months.

It's been a very sweet Christmas season for us, out here on our own. I feel more and more like a "real" family, making our own traditions and memories, and that is good.

Don't deprive us of pictures of Olivia! Remember, it's the eyes that are "Gorgeous!" Jane has style in so many ways. And Malan looks so intellectual with that book.

Dying over Olivia's eyelashes! WOW! Just like her Mama. What a fabulous Christmas for just your cute family. And I'm thinking a daily blog should be in the works to showcase Jane's chic stylings. :)

Nice pics. When we tried the baby food snowglobes it failed and got mineral oil everywhere. How'd you do it?
Hooray for crawling babies! And boxes to stop them with.
